Got my used 120SR Heli today in the mail. A little dirty and slightly banged up, but seems to work OK. Guy had a bunch of spares including quite a few batteries that will also fit in my MQX. I bound it to an open model spot on the DX7 and flew it without adjusting anything or really knowing what the heck I was doing. Some trimming and it seems to fly OK. I'm sure I'll be bored with it in weeks so I'm already eying a CP heli to migrate to.

It's a sickness. :)

Looks like a Axial EXO buggy .. but has some nice upgrades . The only way to know is buy one , I may look into getting back into R/C more .. I have a Traxxas Slash 4x4 , and it will crack 70mph with the proper upgrades ! Crazy truck ... I like the rock crawler scene , and that twin hammers looks like the best of both worlds

02TAC - nice! Looks relaxing!

I put a bunch of packs through my Sbach, GeeBee, and HT-FPV quad. Took the gopro up for one of the flights:

Nice... do you have anypics of the build?

I am still fiddeling with the air-brakes:

and tried to stick some film to the first wing, which still looks a bit ugly, but I hope that it woll smooth out, after treating it with the heat-gun.

No, the build involved seeing it sitting in a friends basement (already built) and asking her what the deal was with it as she is not into RC. She said she got it from someone that had moved and was going to throw it away. My response "THE HELL YOU ARE!" and I took it home.

Converting it to a powered glider was a simple matter of cutting the soft balsa nose cone off about 1/4" fwd of the bulkhead, drilled a hole for the wires, a couple smaller holes for cooling air, bolted on an electric motor (450 slow fly from headsuprc.com) and drilled a few small holes on the bottom near the tail for cooling air to exit the fuselage

I have used up a couple Gentle Lady's so far, great learning tools. the electric motor seems like a fun idea.

I did a little bit of flying last night in the cold, tested out my new DX7s (I like that radio a lot...and I am not a spectrum fan) flew 2 batts in the PZ 109 and 2 in the FMS HS-123...froze my fingers off...I don't like flying in the cold.

Then was screwing around and saw my long forgotten slash in the rafters of my basement.....ever wonder what happens if you put a 4s 3300 in s slash....it is fricken fast and fun.....and not I did not kill anything the stock speedo was quite warm as was the motor, but dang it was fun....ended up running both packs I had in that thing.....I think it might get a little more use now.

The electric motor makes it a fly anywhere bird as it is self contained for launch.
