While some trailers are quite noticable behind, I had Bushtec (a slightly larger verion of the one in the pic, but with the same large wheels and air suspension) which was practically invisible as far as cornering was concerned -- zero effect on my K12LT's handling. The only cornering worry was forgetting it was back there and getting too close to the inside of the corner (i.e., dropping a trailer wheel off the tarmac). I currently have a Uni-Go, so no more two-track wheel worries, but I definitely feel the little trailer's feeding back into the K16's handling.

IMO, it is better to put a good share of the weight into the trailer, because it makes the bike lighter/easier to handle at low speed. If you load the trailer to maintain the correct amount of tongue load, the combo works well.

No, we gotta wait and see how well he does when he gets to a left turn. They do have on/off ramps in Florida so right turns are not surprise.
