WTF?? It's only the snarkey little whiney bitches that call it making a profit with a "lifestyle"... Who gives a rats azz?! The businessmen and women who want to run profitable enterprises recognize this truth. In order to succeed you need to produce what your consumers want. Not what a small group of self righteous asswipes on an internet board BELIEVE they SHOULD want...

Another blast from the past.

A few pages back, NC Scott brought up the first post of the thread, the one that started this whole yakfest - with the picture of the unfortunate GS rider straddling the center line.

But there are also other gems in the early posts. How about this amazing video? Amazing it is.

I thought that he would lose it at marker 0:53.

Thats been around awhile. Wolf is a hell of a rider. Quite impressive on a wing,,,,but it's all relative. The camera bike is dragging hard parts and I know he's not going extremely fast, so neither is the wing. Sure he's motivating along, for a wing, but not near sportbike fast. And anyone dragging parts needs a smaller bike or some riding lessons...........more likely the later.

You, sir, obviously don't know Yellow Wolf.

Not your grandpa's Gold Wing either.

BTW, a few years ago he did a Saddlesore 1K on the tail. Back & forth, he covered the grand inside 24 hours. IBA wouldn't certify it because the average speed was well above the posted limit. He knew that going in, but wanted to do it just cuz.

Yellow Wolf is a legend of sorts, but just like the Lone Ranger, there is Tonto. Just as adept to crime fighting and tought the Ranger a few things(OK in the story he tought him almost everything), but he never got the noteriety. The camera man goes by FUSE on some other forums and is a great rider, along with most of the Wingers who frequent the other place I hang out. BTW, that is the sound of foot pegs, not engine guards.

Never underestimate an old man on a Wing, you very well may end up with egg on your face. A little humility wouldn't hurt a lot of folks around here.

Yep, I just cannot understand why people like hooliken cannot understand why a company wants to discontinue a product that is not selling. Seems pretty simple to me.

^^^^ Now that's some funny chit right there.

As far as YellowWolf and the IBA on Deals Gap, I can't be sure but think that's an urban legend. Yes, the guy can ride. Biggest issue that I see is he has a highly modified suspension on his wing and other wingers see that video and think ALL Goldwings can hustle the dragon like that which is a big mistake.

That's a pretty bold comment you've made, rdwalker.
