You do realize this is the fail fest thread right? To appear in this thread isn't exactly an aspiration.

Not if you aspire to have your pic in this thread because you failed to fail

I will post pics and challenge you to find the fail. If there is fail, there is fail. If there is no fail, you fail, and therein is the fail.

Well enough to pass DOT testing!

It's actually pretty good, bearing in mind you've got over 900 lbs of just Ural (dry and empty). Plus some of that is hanging way off to the right of that single front 4.00"x19" wheel.

Urals have had a nice Brembo caliper (since ~'04) with a floating rotor (since ~'07). Plus the Ural front forks are an early anti-dive system (I think it's called an Earles fork, but I'm not sure about that). Of course there's only a bit of travel, so you're not getting much anyway, but it does work.

The hard part on the Ural is adjusting the sidecar wheel brakes to help maintain straight-line full-pull stops.

The Ural tends to pull to the left when using just the front brake, so I run my sidecar wheel brake a bit tighter than the rear wheel brake to counter-act that. That makes the bike pull a bit to the right when using only the rear/sidecar brake pedal (combined system), but I just always use both front and rear.

I can get a real nice howl from the front tire as it nearly skids, sort of fun to do that near somebody (typically cager) to wake them up when they're being a bit out of touch with the world around them.
