So would this be classified as an embankment fail at the Dragon???

The latest from TDOT:

On Tuesday morning, April 30, 2013, a rockslide occured on "The Dragon" (SR 115/US 129) in Blount County, about nine miles west of the Tennessee/North Carolina state line. TDOT is cleaning the shale debris from behind the jersey barrier wall, and the little in the roadway with a skid steer. The removal all of material is estimated to be complete before dark tonight. In the meantime TDOT will be able to keep one lane open at all times.

Picture 8 in the series shows some pretty serious involvement from in front of the rear wheel. Center stand perhaps. The luggage is just about to touch down at that point

A bunch of ADV stickers on that bike. Wonder if he'll drop in and own up.

Yeah, he is one of ours and he is okay. He posted link to pix in the AiO thread in central. He thought the pannier touched first looks like something underneath to me.

Big ass skid plate and butt firmly planted in the seat, bad combo.

Look at pic 9. His superwide bash plate and crash bars levered off the front tire first. The back is still in contact. Bad design!
