And "the heir of intellectual superiority?" Really? Just because I disagreed with you? You are correct that I agree with your point that what people call accidents are not accidents in the sense that they are chance occurrences. I guess you and I don't agree on what "screwed up" means. When I say I screwed up, that means it's my fault. You seem to be saying that when someone tells someone else they screwed up they're saying it's not their fault. If that's the case, then yes, we agree on how people mis-use the word "accident."

I apologize if the "If you learn the English language" paragraph appeared to be directed at you specifically. It was not. Perhaps I should have phrased it "If one learns the English language..." and so on. I guess I screwed up.
accidentally??

look, taken in the context of almost every state besides Pennsylvania, your entire post was how you don't respect the double yellow line and/or the laws concerning it.
Even if you didn't say those exact words.
If you think it's ok to cross it in dry weather, with a line of sight, ect ect, then you do not respect the lines or the laws concerning it.

by the way I found this in Wiki,
...In some states, it is not against the law to overtake vehicles in the presence of solid yellow lines if it is safe to do so. For example, Vermont State Law also allows passing across the double yellow line when no traffic is on the opposing side, however, one must pass quickly and return to the proper side. [9] Pennsylvania also permits passing on double-yellow lines when not also posted with "Do Not Pass" signage. [10][11] However this is unusual as most states have a ban on crossing a double yellow line except when turning, or when pedestrians, bicycles, or other obstructions in the road make it necessary. Overtaking another vehicle across a solid yellow line is usually considered a serious traffic violation in most states. [12]...

it says it's ok in Penn so I'll give you that, however, as we are discussing Deals gap here, Tennessee's law is the applicable one.

page 49 of the Tenneessee Driver's manual

says:

"...
1. Edge and Lane Lines

- Lines along the side of the road show you where the edge of the road is located. A solid white line indicates the right edge of the traffic lane on a
road. A solid or broken yellow line indicates the left edge of traffic lanes going in your direction.
If you ever find yourself with yellow to your right and white to your left, you are going the wrong way. ..."

So down here, it's a ticketable offense to just cross over if you feel like it.
If not for improper passing, then for going the wrong way!

"... A. Yellow Lane Markings
- Lines separating traffic moving in opposite directions are yellow.
Yellow lines are also used to mark a boundary or barrier of the travel path at the location of a particular hazard such as bridge supports, etc.

Broken yellow lines mean that you MAY cross the line to pass if there is no oncoming traffic and it is safe to do so.

Two solid yellow lines between lanes of traffic means you MAY NOT cross the lines from either direction to pass even if no oncoming traffic is in view.
You may cross a solid yellow line to turn into a driveway or side road if it is safe to do so. ..."

And I call enough

I'm bored with this, either stay in Penn or disobey the laws elsewhere and suffer the consequences.

now have a good day sir
