Ahhh I have seen pictures of them but apparently not with a normal size human being in them to demonstrate how tiny they are...

I think the rider in the pic is a bit larger than "normal size", making it look even smaller.

It doesn't take much power to go fast there. You just need to be able to keep up the speed in the curves. The only real problem with lack of power is that it's very difficult to pass slower traffic. The Grom has around 9 HP which should be enough to outrun most of the traffic on that road.

It's not only a Grom, but appears to be a somewhat custom one with an extended swing arm and cropped tail.
