No it's not an atom or a MEV, it's a smaller shop that's put out only a handful. Can't remember the name offhand...

Looks like an Exocet. The Atom usually has the big honking air intake over the car between the driver and pax. The nose on the Atom is also much pointer.

I was doing around 60mph and saw the little bastard come from the right, hit me right in the little unprotected patch of skin between helmet and leather jacket. It is a mystery to me how he managed to get me so good in the 1/100th of a second the impact lasted. Good reflexes I guess ... it was the first time something like this happened to me.
I would just about bet you hit it from behind; you ran into the stinger. I don't believe yellow jackets fly at 60 mph. DAMHIK .

Rode The Dragon About 4:00 PM And It Was Getting Empty

Rode over on the Cherohala from Robbinsville to Tellico Plains then on to Maryville to hit Home Depot and then back home via the Dragon.
Stopped and ate my chicken on one of the pull offs and watched the traffic go by. What a beautiful day to ride.

That's some aluminum stock on the rear rack for some projects.

Because it's broken off. Look again, the stalk is there but the head is missing.
