Or in the drive and the garage with the kickstand down. A few times.

At a certain level, the whole chicken strips thing is bullshit.

I've met some guys who are extremely quick and have some chickenstrips showing.

Of course, the vast majority of chickenstripped bikes are like that for a reason.

This I agree with. I have chicken strips and don't feel I am "slow" on the roads. I believe it means I have margin to lean should I need to.

On my Duc I have strips but on my Bonnie I don't.

My buddy on a Suzuki has no strips, yet we road the same 300 miles at the same speeds.

So, strips don't tell much, unless they are really wide...

The shape and duration of the curve of a tire has a lot to do with it too. On my GS, with Battlewings, I can remove the rear easily, but even laying on the cylinder the front will have half inch strips.

The whole chicken strip thing is kind of stupid anyhow. Proper riding, on the street, will often never remove them.

No, but counterleaning will!

The purpose of hanging off is to keep the bike from leaning over right?
If you want to get that "cool Joexr" racing stripe look on your tires, just lean out when you turn in, everyone on the internet will see the pictures of your "wasted" tires and assume you are a motorcycle god.

Same thing on my SD. If you use all the tire on a bike like that, on the street, you are risking going to jail when you get caught. I lean my LC4 farther in corners than my SD.

I bet there was a bicycle just out of frame on the right.
Besides, he has a good sight line. He can see all the cars he is going to hit.

Proof that owning a great handling car does not translate into knowing how to handle it....................
