No point in arguing with idiots that are always right.

I agree that there is nothing like riding *THE SPEED LIMIT* around an uphill blind corner, only to encounter a couple bikes in the middle of the lane riding at a walking pace. How hard would it be for them to ride single file along the right edge?

Selfish assholes deserve to get hit. But of course, it would be our fault.

I never said they deserved to get hit, and of course it could be considered my fault, though that may be debatable.

My contention is that driving on any road you have an expectation that other road users will be going at or near the speed limit. Otherwise twisty roads like that would be nothing but crawling along at 10-15mph in fear of a truck/bus/car/bike etc. sitting in the middle of the road.

Can there be a deer/rock slide/broken down car hidden in a blind corner? Of course, driving is a risky thing sometimes.

Honestly, you guys are murdering this thread.
If you're so strongly opinionated on the matter, just go argue your points with the other crusaders and let the rest of us get back to enjoying this thread.
Please.

It obviously snowed over a large portion of the country the last couple of days.

I noticed that too, but figured I had stirred up enough trouble.

Just to stir the pot, I will add these points:

On a road like the Dragon, there is no posted speed MINIMUM, afaik.

Farm equipment is entitled to use the road at whatever speed they feel is appropriate.

In Amish country, horse drawn carrieges are entitled to use the road. As they only have 1 horse power so they are not very fast.

Yes, farm vehicles do use the road but have to have a slow moving vehicle sign. Yes, it is legal for bicycles to ride two abreast. Is it safe? No. I ride bicycles but stick mainly to trails because the risk of getting hit by a car is to great. I guess its a case of weeding out the gene pool.

AC - Those boys are moving along - for a (push) bike. However, any competent driver in a modern car or on a modern moto could pass them w/ ease, provided they would move over so it could be done safely. The bikes are coasting, w/ an engine, one short straight and a little throttle and it's all over.
