I personally don't see the point in riding 1000 mile days just to say you've done it but to each his own and wouldn't think of calling them some degrading name. No harm ,no foul the way I see it.Actually ,as an ex drag racer, I still get off on a nice smoking burnout, not necessarily just sitting there burnin off a tire but a nice 30-40 foot smokie.

Better to be the white helmet than the dark helmet.

I might have a lot of faults but being a show off burning tires sitting still is not one of them.

I always laugh when I see dorks doing powerbrake burnouts. If they had balls they'd let go of the brake.

Because that's where the camera is!

No, if you had me change your tires, and I then sold your used tires and kept the money, that would be asshatish. If you sell your own tires, that's not.

As for the burnouts, I just watch them. I might do it once or twice, but not to kill a tire. Not even to smoke one, just to see if it will spin.

Instead they will complain when they are told that their chain need replacing. And they don't know why it wore out so quickly

I used to wonder, then I realized that it's mental fatigue.. riding these roads when you're not used to it wears on you, and these folks often aren't remotely competent at twisties, just puttering along on the roads.. and they eventually brain fart thier way into the ditch..

864 miles of thrills.
From Pensacola Beach to Key West, and nine other awesome stops in between.
