Regardless of what your wearing there are many ways to achieve the same end, visibility, comfort and protection.

The street is not the track and no place for track speed or style of riding. You wanna wear full leathers on the street its more about image than safety. Come on, in full leathers without even a scuffed knee puck your posing, like it or not.
However anyones free to ride and dress as they like for whatever reason they choose, even if its to stroke their ego.

Not necessarily. My leathers don't have any knee pucks, or even Velcro.
