I guess if he would've had linked brakes and ABS that wouldn't have happened.

Absolute classic target fixation and panic. At least we know he's using the front brake.

What makes you think he is using the front brake, I don't see any brake light?

That was one of the most amazing crashes I ever saw. The bike starts doing an endo in the middle of the pack heading into the first turn. Took out four or five riders if I remember correctly.

[Note: stupid f***ing idea to have red turn signals on the back]

When will the authorities stop this carnage by mandating ABS on ALL race bikes?
If it only saves one life... |

Clearly doesn't know what he's doing - His elbow is not on the ground.

And his head isn't below the handlebars...
And in another epic fail, he is riding on a TRACK and probably going warp factor 9 besides! |

Nothing wrong with the running-light idea. I just happen to think it's retarded to put red turn signals on a bike when amber has been the standard for decades (yes I do know red turn signals are legal)

If I recall red turn signal (lens) is not allowed in some States but not sure. Anyone?

Fair enough. I like amber indicators better, as they make it easier to discern whether you're turning or pumping the brakes. But I couldn't fault somebody for making one decision over the other.
