No one is saying they are not. Sure, , you're a sovereign being, but in order to ride in my car, the rule is no seatbelt, no ride. Sure, you are free to chose to wear or not to wear the seatbelt, but since it's my car, you don't go by my rules, you don't ride in my car. End of discussion. Same on my bike, You want to ride with me? Wear gear. All of it. Or, don't ride. Your choice.

I have a bit of a problem with kids who are too young to make an informed choice riding pillion on motorcycles. I personally won't allow it.
So you are going to impose your personal beliefs on others for their sake? When are you running for office? Do you also have a problem with kids on bicycles, rollerskates, and skateboards? How many times did you get hurt as a kid and learn from it? Today's kids aren't allowed to be in a position where they might fuck up and get hurt.

Seeing some of these photos is almost enough to make one an advocate for involuntary sterilization...

I'm still trying to figure out what this guy did to get crosswise like this...

I give people my opinion, sure. But, it's up to them to make their own decisions.

You think I'd let you make my decisions for me?
You think you'd let me make your decisions for you?

ATGATT is a good idea. I do it. But, I'm not an ass about it. It's their skin to lose, not mine.
I think you're missing the point here.
A lot of younger folks riding as a passenger don't have a clue about anything having to do with bikes but to get on and hang on. Road rash? What's that?
You can't let folks make a decision on something they know nothing about.
The main thing I was getting at was the photos of the riders in gear but none for their passengers. I'm sure if it's important enough for the rider to be wearing it, it should be equally important for the passenger...if they care about their passenger that is.

What he thinks works? WTF! It obviously DOES work. Believe it or not before ADVRIDER or the internet a lot of rider got by on their guts and intelligence. They didn't ask for the opinions of 1000's of know-it-alls or care.

That "dude" has lived a life FAR beyond the pampered ATGATT, dealer serviced, Starbucks sucking life style and dress code purported to be "costume de rigueur by" the smooth mouthed cum guzzlers that frequent this thread to pass judgment on all they see.

I'm not sure which is shallower with these judges, the gene pool or the tolerance level.

[Did I say that out loud?] Good.

Looks like she is a fun mom and her little girl is going to grow up with a lot of great experiences. Live and let live.

Is that YOUR kid? What? No? Then it is none of your damn business if a Mom wants to take her kid for a nice motorcycle ride, You can take your "It takes a village" mentality and stick it where the sun don't shine.

Child Endangerment is children being choked out of living their lives by a bunch of overbearing do good socialist freaks.
