A couple welding crews up here run those and the f650s, and yes, they are a big ass truck.

Insto-death sentence. (punted biker) Picking a fight with 4500 lbs of rolling steel is not very bright.

That's for sure ^^^

I'm hardheaded and rarely back down, but you just don't push a confrontation on a bike. Ever.

Maybe we need to start a new thread for Palomar Mountain since there seems to be a photographer set up there too.

To me, it is as much about not letting some dipshit ruin my ride buzz as it is about not getting myself flattened. I don't get to ride enough to let somebody ruin my day by getting me pissed off. Riding is about getting unpissed off. So as long as they don't take me out completely I just ride on in peace. No whips, no marbles or any other macho biker bullshit. I just ride on.

Like I said before(one more time) I wouldn't do it!
Unless you had a locker in the differential, it should not have done that. You had bigger problems. Did you maybe have big tires? How many miles on the Jeep? Did you buy it new? Was it abused, like a lot of Jeeps are?
On ice nothing would have been binding so again, you had other problems unless you left it in 4wheel 24/7.
But still, since the discussion was about t-cases, not differentials, and your T-case did not explode, your story has little to no bearing on the subject.
You assume too much. The damage and the failure seldom happen at the same time. Your other assumptions are naive as well.

As for bearing on the original subject, no it didn't fail on the dragon.

2. The dude on the bike was an idiot for riding that close behind the pissed off cager - he set himself up for the fall. The cager made that brilliant little move, knew the biker was pissed and played him like a violin... really masterful stroke there, and then just drove off.

3. That said, if I didn't hurt you at number 1, I'm definitely going to after number 2 Guy never had a chance after 2...

Nah. No failures in those pics. Nothing for us to criticize to make ourselves feel superior.

Never bring a gun to a cage fight...especially if you have to reach accross your lap and grab it with your left hand while accelarating toward/away from said cage.
