Motorcycle Superstore doesn't list a 17" size other than 130/80.

Chaparral IS my local dealer.

Dennis Kirk wants $15/tire more than Motorcycle Superstore.

American Moto Tire does have them in stock, but they're about $8/tire more than Motorcycle Superstore. Not too bad... but since I don't need them right away, I'll wait a bit longer in case M.S. gets them back in stock. The saving will pay for at least one tube if not two.

ok, I haven't actually tried the T63 in anything other than 130. Come to think of it I think maybe I asked the tireshop about a 140 a few years back

I have just recently tried for weeks to get a 17" for my bike to no avail. Nobody has one.... I was willing to pay more than the MSS 55$ sitting on the porch, denied. Michelin is not saying when or if they will do another run of 17s.
Loved that tire... RATFUCK....
Just punted and ordered a 606.

T63 not made in 140, AFAIK. The Desert is a slightly tougher version of the T63 and it is only available in 140.

Had great hopes for the T-63 ran it for 2500 miles on my Husky TE610 - maybe the wrong bike for this tire - but it sucked off road and still wore out pretty quick.

Went back to a Pirelle MT-43, so much better off road and still goes 2000 miles.

I am a big fan of T-63 for my 17 inch rear wheel and my heavy Tenere... Unfortunately trial tyres such is MT-43 are not available in 17 inches... Or am I wrong??

Just ordered a set of t-63s for my XR650L look forward to trying them out couldn't resist the price however found many retailers were out of stock. Ordered from Denis Kirk despite the increase in cost figured I'd pay for lack of patients. It is so difficult getting idea of how a tire is going to act when reviewed by so many different bikes and riding styles. Replacing MT-21 rear and D606 front with matching T-63 so I will just have to see for myself.

I like ordering from DK because of the quick shipping. MS takes too long, on the free shipping. I run a TKC80(19" front) and T63(17" rear) combo. I love the T63 and get about 4K miles, per tire. I'll order a 4th, some time in June.

Pavement Howl T63 vs karoo

Anyone had both to compare their noise at speed on pavement? The Karoo's are real loud and I am already partially deaf.

Don't you wear ear plugs ? They howl but I don't think about it. Wind noise is far louder.

Never tried Karoo's on my bike so I can't compare. MT21s are much much worse at least.
