Navcity 2009 map update failure
Hi! you all. I have just downloaded and installed new map version of Türkiye on my laptop and it is all fine until I have discovered that I am unable to send it to the device via mapsource now.
I says '' to transfer data to your device, select maps orcreate waypoints, rotes or tracks.'' Isn't it possible to change the map on the device this way? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

Have you used Mapsource before? Have you used Mapsource to send maps to the GPS before?
You must select the maps you want to send to your GPS. To do this, select the "Map Tool" in the toolbar. Now when you move the mouse around the screen you should see sections highlighted. Click on the sections you want to send to your GPS. They will change color. After you have chosen all the sections you want, select "Transfer" and "Send to Device." If your GPS is properly connected to the computer, you should see it in the dialog box. Make sure the check box for "Maps" is selected, and then click "Send." Jamie

I have installed the update of Navcity Turkey 2009.02 - MapID: 848
and everything is working fine on my 276C. I can transfer the entire map without any problems! It sounds very strange what you are writing! By the way this update just comes out the right time for us!! the 15th of May we are going to be in Turkey!!:) |

So; would it be too early to say ''Welcome to Türkiye'' Zakou?
If you make your through the customs at any weekend, let me know. We could have a lunch of our typical cuisine. As regards to my thread here, I have a question to you. when you open Map Info page on your device, tell me what is written there? Navcity 2009-2 or; B1, B2, B3.....as per a division of the total map? When 2008-4 installed on the device, all I could see on the Map Info page was two maps: one for Navcity 2008-4 and the other Türkiye Topo. It was so easy to switch to another one while riding on the bike. With this new form, 54 regional map divisions on map info page. I can't understand this.

On map info page, there are 54 pieces of maps this time. Almost impossible to move from one map to another on bike.
Imposiisble to edit or fix this? |
