Well, the X11 still rules the War of Ugly, although the FZ1 is no looker either with its '84 FJ1100 tail section and mishmash of colors and textures.

This is what classic naked bikes are supposed to look like.

Repeat after me, "I want a classic boxer, I want a classic boxer." There, now yer done. Go to the IBMWR site under Airheads For Sale. Bask in the knowledge tjat you have done the right thing. And then start the post, "Should Fish mount an S or RS fairing" Don't you feel better now?

Based upon my conversations about the FZ and the bike fish is replacing I's say it is the best buy. with those upright wide bars the bike will rock the twisties.

FWIW, the Yam FZ1 outperforms the X11 by a significant margin, at least on paper.
Yep. Physically bigger too, but it was not around when I was shopping. Wouldn't have got one anyway, but I do like it.

jdiaz, man, I can dig the boxer, but yer telling me that K75 brick actually looks nice?
Excuse me while I toss my cookies... :puke

Also, despite the bashing it's getting here at Advrider, I like the V-Strom. A lot. I've been ogling it at the dealer, and it looks like a FUN machine for my roads...

And classic naked bikes, if we get to that, don't get much better than this...

But the fish ain't gettin' one for 5k. Maybe 35k for a fine example?

SFIS Roberto lusts for one of these that he will never have.

Yeah, the intellectual insight alone is worth....ah, forget it. :)

Fish, you should just get a new Honda Odyssey minivan with a DVD entertainment system.

Sorry, but I have no plans to enter the employee stock purchase program. I'm sitting on a bazillion ADVR options...unfortunately, they are all WAY underwater He'll have to settle for my small paypal tribute.
