Saddle Sore 1000, Southwestern Style

I'm amongst at least one other Advrider (http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45203) who attempted an Iron Butt Saddle Sore 1000 this weekend.

My ride was a success , and the complete write up is here.

In summary, the ride was a blast featuring lots of wildlife, a meeting of the Rural New Mexico Gangsta Rap Wannabe Club, heavy rain and wind and some beautiful scenery.

Here are some pics. More can be found in the report, and all of them can be found on on this site

Enjoy,

Yeah, I got rained on outside of Teec Nos Pos, AZ. Classic desert micro-storms, you can see them in the distance. Wind and rain for about half an hour or so. The rain gear worked fine, though.
