DRZ400E rallye build

My Brother and i had been separated for several years due to work posting us around the country. Anyway we are now back together again, and I have found out that he is heavily involved in Navigational Rallye racing. One long boozy afternoon on his big deck (jeff foxworthy fans will know what I am referring to

Anyway one afternoon we get to talking about it. I end up riding his KTM 525 in a race with about 3 hours training. The result wasn't good. I had ridden dirt bikes but that was over 15 years ago and a lot had changed since then. Fast forward and we take a more measured approach to the task at hand. I find a bike much more suited to my capabilities. I combine this with his knowledge of Nav Rally Racing, and we produce something that fits me almost perfectly. So basically this is the story of how we turned this

into this

Nice, a cool build that is already done before you start the thread. That hopefully means we won't have to wait too long between updates!

Looking mighty good by the way. I am guessing that is an Aqualine rear tank for the WR-F?

And what rally did you compete in, Australian Safari?

Cheers,
Lukas
