We gave the KLR a lot of ribbing (by way of Nicole) but I think it would probably be much improved if you pulled out the lowering link. Aside from losing an inch of travel, I think it threw off the geometry. It's better to have a proper-handling bike that's too tall than a poor-handling bike you can flat-foot.

you know, i think the lowering link is out. its a damn sight higher than it looks in those photos, it's got different plastic, a bigger tank, a new muffler, and some other stuff. I reckanized it from the lic. plate. It runs great, no problems yet, i got it at 14k miles and i've put on another 1k as a commuter bike. Eventually it's going to brazil tho.

Finish that RR yo!

I have been subscribed for well over a year. How do you think I feel. Everytime therein a new post i get excited, then no pay off. Kinda like getting an empty box for Christmas.
