Well the electric guys came by just a bit ago and were hopeful to get the power back on in our neighbor hood. That was until they realized the pole in my back yard was snapped in two. Then found the transformer laying in my backyard. They quickly revamped their story to be all the neighborhood up to my house should have power tonight.

Lets hope they get the pole replaced tomorrow. Until then I'll sneak into work to get my internet fix.

Whoo Hoo. They're putting in a new pole now. Maybe we'll have power this afternoon.

Don't go out to help!! They charge $20./hr without your help and $30/hr with your help. Do hope you soon have power, I was once without for several days and it is the pits!!

Now, I'm not a fair weather rider, but come on! These severe storms are putting a damper on my style! Everytime I get the branches and assorted crap picked up, another storm blows more down. I imagine the trails are not in the best of shape right now.

Dude! That storm last night was insane in Rolla.

I was seriously considering moving my bed to the middle of my apartment, because I thought my windows were going to blow out.

Pleasant Hill MO here. (SE of KC)
I head down that way every chance I get.
Used to ride a bunch at Chadwick. Lately I've been camping there on the way to AR. Me and a coupla friends are going to try and follow the swinging bridges route in June.

Hi, guys! That must have been quite a storm. There was a lot of damage all the way over to the boot heel. I was riding from Jackson, Tn, this week. The trees looked weird. Then I figured it out. They were missing leaves and small branches. That was around Kennet. Farther north, it was the oak trees broken off ten feet off the ground. I'm talking two foot diameter trees. Eminence had a lot of trees on houses. I've never seen that kind of wide spread damage before.

Joplin was hit with 85 mph winds. We had several oak trees blown over in our neighborhood. Our neighbor's tree took out an electric pole with a transformer. We got power back after three and a half days. Which is better than the 11 days we were without power from an ice storm.

Sorry, sold to a guy over by Branson, via craigslist

Wrist is still funky, shoulder is about 100%. Thanks for asking.

I did get another dual sport (KTM LC4-400), licensed today, so I'm legal again.
