Deadly, that's a real nice looking Nighthawk setup. Do you pull that trailer with it?

Thanks, I only use it when Im traveling two up so that I can carry more cargo. I have been thinking about taking it on a few solo runs this year though. It will carry enough food and supplies that I dont need to buy much while on the road so it makes traveling really cheap.

If I were planing to go off the pavement though I would leave it at home for sure.

Probably old news...

I found some "new to me" "4 wheeler trails" in the chats just south of the 249/171 interchange. Didn't find any "No Trespassing" signs and found another entrance over near Hall/Duquesne street.

The trails are close enough to my house to ride over and get some "practice" in crashing or hopefully not crashing.

I'll try to upload my phone camera pictures soon.

I'll be at Joplin's motorcycle safety awareness expo this weekend. I volunteered to pick up cones on the skills course.

I wish, but my wife and newly born daughter (5/18/09) will be keeping me at home this weekend.

I'd say that's worth missing a silly motorcycle rally for.

Two is good, but I'll be 61 when #2 graduates HS, so I am probably finished..for now. (never say never).

Now that would have been sweet. Fortunately, the WIFE chose the name, Ruth Anne (the "e" was my contribution).

I did pass out Baby Ruth™ candybars at work today. So I guess we named her after a candy bar...and not a Austrian Motorcycle manufacturer.

It's good to see some riders are from SW MO. I was born and raised in Wheaton then Uncle Sam took me for a trip. Moved back to Monett in 76 and lived there until 80 but couldn't aford to make a living there. Now live close to Sedalia and often think of riding some of the roads I traveled in a cage when I was younger. That ought to be a hoot.
