Touratech handgaurds on F800GS

Anyone had experience with both the Touratech and BMW handgaurds on their 800? I currently have the BMW ones but like what looks to be better wind protection of the Touratech.

I really like my TT hand guards. I've dropped the bike twice and they have done their job each time. They give a little more than the metal back-bone ones. Wind protection has been good as well. For next winter I will probably get the extensions. I like the looks more than the OEM ones as well

I have the TT's with the extensions. I like them because they offer great protection and they are pretty durable.

That is exactly what I did. The TT offer better wind protection. I think the BMW guards are too far away from the hand, the wind goes around them.

I'm happy with my Touratechs too. But a couple of inmates here added a 2nd (lower) set of winglets to their BMW guards. Dunno if that makes a significant difference in the wind and rain.
