Yeah, I ran a bit through already but it made no difference in the short term...

How much is your 'bit'?

I usually run about a full tank with about 3-4 gallons couple times a year and never had any clogged carbs/jets. I have had bikes sit with gas (with no fuel additive) for close to 2 months and with seafoam purrs back to normal before I am done with the tank.

I went with the directions on the bottle; I think there's about a gallon of gas in the tank, so I added ~1 oz seafoam to the tank. I may try a bit more of an aggressive treatment directly into the carb...

Here is what I have from the Thrill and Chill ride last Sunday. Not sure if anyone else from the Boston crew made it, we did not get to camp out on Saturday as planned and spent two hours just before the event trying to get one of our guys bike running.

Was.....

that the big KTM that would not start? Jumper cables to the truck, pulling the tank off, checking to see if the plug was wet?

Yep...... that was him. His bike ran perfect the day before, then nothing. It looks like an electrical problem.

Crap.....

I was the guy helping you guys..... well- more like standing there, I guess. My plug wrench wasn't the right size.
I had hoped he got it going.... frustrating.
Well- you rode so........ screw him! Just kidding..

Thanks. He got it running eventually, but it kept cutting out. He packed up and went home, the rest of us rode the event.
Hopefully he gets it sorted out before the next ride in CT (Somers fun ride). Look for the white yamaha WR250F with red retro graphics, I'm pretty easy to pick out of the crowd.

As always John nice videos

I wish I could be out there. The Somersault fun run from what I recall has some nice riding.

Thanks Mark. The videos are nothing exciting, it was hot, dry, and dusty. I was riding like an old lady out there.

Did you ever take out one of those street legal three-wheeled-snowmobile things for a test ride? I see those things everywhere on the road these days, bombardier must be making a fortune on them.

You'll probably think this is funny, but I snapped some pics of you on that bike, not knowing it was you, of course.
The minute I saw those graphics, the red on white, I turned to my buddy and said "that's the coolest bike here".
I remember when those (red on white) came out and, if I remember correctly, they were supposed to be be the "trick euro colors" back in in what... the mid-late 80's? I may be wrong but that was my memory.
The world was smaller then- crap, I remember when KTM's and Husky's were ultra-rare.
I've never been that beaten by the heat before.
There was also a cool RMX250 at the rider's meeting. Not super old but still cool.

I bet they are.

If he hasn't time is running short.

They are shutting down their demo program, too many accidents and too expensive to run. This according to the guys from the other manufacturers here at Carlisle Bike Week.

I was chatting with a couple that did the test ride at some recent event. The wife was like, "When I sit behind him on the bike I can relax, I don't even have to hold on. But on that thing I had to hang on for dear life all the time. No way will we get one of those."

Rt 3a motors in Chelmsford let me take one for a test ride, reminded me of driving a snowmobile, just not as much fun. I've tried to ride the KLR but have a real hard time holding it up when stopped. Just need more time, doing PT 3 times a week, 2 hours a day and it really helps. My upper body is ripped, legs not so much.
