Oh man,
I missed Beers last night?
Damn!
I would love to go riding. Sundays are best for me. This one is supposed to be raining.
I ride in to cambridge almost everyday and right outside of Harvard Sq.. Any one up for drinks tonight?
I am on my bicycle today if that counts.

Bummer, I missed out. I wanted to meet some of you local guys to ride with. I had a little off road mishap and spent tuesday/ wednesday in the hospital otherwise I would have been their.
I hope to back on the bike soon. Hopefully someone will set up another meet greet.

Thanks for posting the video of freetown.

I hit one of my teenage off road sites after work Tuesday night, was having alot of fun on my old stomping grounds, probably got a little over confident. I was hitting a hump/ jump over an over, each time a little faster, and faster, and faster until I got high enough to botom out the suspension, hard, that combined with muddy stock pegs (KLR 650) turned into an ugly landing. My foot slipped off the pegs, I almost recovered but ended up dumping it. No damage to the bike, I had all my gear on (except riding pants) I felt ok, got up brushed myself off, my back felt like I got wacked with a bat. My jacket does have a CE rated back pad. But I felt fine, picked the bike up no problems. When I went to throw my leg over, Oh my ****in God! Instant agony, me and the bike fell right over. Limped home and by the time I got there I realized I had done something bad. A hospital trip and an MRI confirmed my suspicions, 2 herniated discs.
So now I'm down and out, they injected me Wednesday morning with steroids, seems a little better. I just gotta stop taking the pain meds to be sure.
I had a previous back issue, but it hasn't bothered me in a long time until now.

Damn it, I guess I am getting old.
