Thanks for the offer. Looks like I might be hooking up with Niceviewbehindbars and his bro in Richmond and trailer up to the 'burg with them!

Hope this works as I will be on slick street tires LOL ...I'm sure I'll be ok ...when in doubt GAS it.

After hitting Seneca Rocks you can head over to Moorefield and cut down through Trout Pond over to 259, then head through Singers Glen area back to 33.
Also Beartown state park which is now open again, down by Droop Mountain Wv. and Anthony Station Road a little further south between 219 and 92 is a nice ride.

Campout Map

I have been asked by a few folks as to where the campsite will be. I was thinking there are a few right after the bridge in this former tag shot from November:

One is off to the left of the shot and the other is to the right along the stream. There are numerous sights around here. Let me know if you want to be farther off the road

You'll be fine. I rode 100 miles of some pretty ruff stuff in TN following a guy on a KTM supermoto and I could barley keep up with him on my KLR. At least the WR is easy to pickup after you fall.

Both me and HPZ have done this route on Ninja 250s with 16" sport tires. You'll be fine.

The trail:

Here's a pic of me on Skidmore Fork from a year or two ago.
No problem for pretty much any bike.
Of course, weather forecast says Thunderstorms starting Monday and ending on Sunday....so there might be a bit more mud.

I'm interested...

I've heard tell that the Reddish Knob area is pretty gnarly. Think I could huck a GS8 up there?
