May 17th
From Corvallis Vintage gathering; Quote:
I've got a couple of 2fer1 coupons (which I'll copyright as 241 ) (which I'll copycopyright that as "7", which is the numbers added together, and henceforth known as the "Lucky 7 group", copy3righted as L7G)So to be a member of the L7G team, you have to let me buy the meal. I'm well armed with my Entertainment Book, but also know the local coups to clip. Dave gets the second invite (G-Dog was first in '05), if we can meet at Bigfoot Bar & Grill at 9am Sun. It's at 3330 Commercial St SE, Salem (just south of Pizza Hut/liquor store, north of Freddies/Dominos. If anyone wants to pair with MS, I've got extra coups, but you work out the split. Others welcome, extra coups in Salem Monthly. As attested by the 2 attendees at the Salem meet-up yesterday, don't dismiss a suggested Bigmak food venue until you've tried it ![]() |

But SKAJ's sounds a little obtuse. Perhaps I'll start a new thread called Jefferson/Albany/Keizer/Salem Meet-up JAKS When we get it figured out we'll make the mods merge things

Can anyone attend?
I am in the Salem area (hell, 1 block from Liberty road inn). Have been looking for other dual sport riders in the area. All of my old trail riding friends have retired from the sport. Currently have two enduro's in my stable - my trusty old '78 Yamaha DT400E 2-stroke (yes, it is all original & street legal) & a new 2009 Suzuki DRZ400S. |

Phew! 9am TODAY was too early. I'll try to get out for an extended lunch break and see everyone there at 5pm today. I'll probably get there fashionably late and leave a little early to get back to the grind.
See you there. Another Bigmak approved joint! YAY!

More fun ideas.
I won't update the name until after the Vintage run, but I was feeling sorry for the Corvallis tribe. So in the future our meet-ups will be the gathering of JACKS- Jefferson/Albany/Corvallis/Keizer/Salem. More meet-ups for more fun ![]() When we have a meet-up day, it will be JACKS-on. The few days we might not be offering a gathering will be JACKS-off. We'll discuss if we want a One or Two-eyed Jack as a symbol, but every time someone attends, they will get/draw a playing card. Sometime in the fall, we will have a gathering where the card holders can pick their best 5 cards to present the best poker hand for a jackpot (to be determined) |
