Surely someone would like an old school trials bike with an XR200 engine with no title?

The original 'Ceptor

'83 V45 Interceptor--man I used to drool over these things back in the day. $1800 for a clean example that runs well is a pretty dang good deal!

My FIL has one that's in mint condition. Bad part about the 83-84 models was poor top end oiling that caused the cams to wipe out. FIL fitted his with an upgrade to get more oil to the top and hasn't had any issues. His bike has about 30k miles.

I completely forgot about the top end oiling issue those 1st-Gen 'Ceptors had. IIRC, ya had to shell out the money for the upgrade yerself, I don't believe Honda did a recall. They must not have had to replace too many cams under warranty.

I remember the first time I laid eyes on a V45 Interceptor back in '83; I had never seen anything like it. Lust at first sight.

They also had some cam chain issues with tensioners and guides going south at bad times (see: acceleration). Hence gear driven cams for next gen.
