Three of us headed out for a great trip on the weekend, headed up by Ststrider.
Nice ride, good weather and a beautiful campsite, although the fish were some what uncooperative.
Thanks again Mike! :

Hey guys...squeaked in a morning ride local before work and was chatting with a fellow ADV forum member...thinking we should get a Sunday ride set up? My question is this though...for instance...the ride that is happening tomorrow...what kind of riding are you doing...i.e. 50% asphalt and 50 trail? Are we talking rail trail or some exploring. I did 203 km of asphalt and rail trail two weekends ago as part of an epic ride weekend...not game to that gameplan(wrong bike for that). If you guys are into riding rocky and tight and twisty...I'M GAME!!! but also open to other options...just trying to get a feel on what you guys are riding..Thanks

Anyone know of a local-ish seamstress that can replace a failed main zipper on a Rallye 2 Pro jacket?

Wednesdays ride will be mostly backroads and road allowances. our sunday rides use a lot of logging roads and two track however getting north involves at least 70 km of asphalt to and from so you will not enjoy the liason sections.but the offroad are a lot of fun ,keeping in mind that most of the bikes are 650 dual sports and one 950.

Thanks guys..looks like I have the wrong rig to hang with you guys on these kinds of rides. If anyone is looking for more offroad/enduro type rides...I'm game. I do have a an extra capacity tank sitting on my shelf in the garage and after hitting reserve on the last couple of rides and with cooler weather here....I may just put that bad boy on and come out for one of these longer epic rides...Blue plates are meant to play ;)

My gearing is 14T x 45...rpm's for around 80 km sustained are around 5400. Would prefer to keep the asphalt km's down to a minimum for future rides. ENJOY!
