Of course --in the car, house hunting!! I used to work in Napanee and a lot of people there hunt, so when I read Verona area, I read the phrase as: in the "cage-house", hunting.

We drove through Verona around 11 am - highly likely it was us as I hardly saw a bike all day, although we did chat with another KLR owner, the "Mad Chef" at Maberly - great food at the restaurant there, by the way.

Don't know any good builders...

BUT....

I'll sell you my house for less than 250K in Newburgh. ($249K )
It's only 3300sq.ft finished with a 2+ car garage. And it is no tar paper shack!
I'm looking to downsize anyhow. lol

I live in Kingston and I'll be up for some D.S.ing just as soon as I replace the stolen parts on my DR 650.Its unrideable right now,no gas tank,seat,front fender etc.I've located some replacement parts and should be good to go in a couple of weeks.

Thanks, I appreciate it. We've been planning this for years, so at least we're not totally lost in the area. Paid a lot of attention to the market and the prices, along with where the good riding is...

Looked at a place on Hinchinbrooke yesterday... I knew that was a great road, cause I hit it constantly when I'm out riding.

More house hunting tomorrow, got a meet with a builder too.

Hinchinbrooke is nice - good twisty paved section from Hartington to Desert Lake Rd, then the great dirt-road part that connects north to the Westport Road.

Took a neighbour of mine for his first ever motorcycle ride on Hinchinbrooke to Westport for dinner on Sunday evening - good times! He was riding my new-old Hawk 400 Tii, I was on the old faithful DRZ.
