QUESTION:

What did you use to get the yellow paint off of yours. I tried acetone nail polish remover and had almost no luck.

Thanks.
Petrol... Unleaded petrol gets it off in seconds.

Yes - the MSR 33oz bottles fit with a little space leftover.

Wow, now I need to order two more Tubes!

I was just going to use them for emergency fuel because i could think of a good way to use them for tools and the like.

Now I am going to get two clear bags after the holidays and two more tubes for the gas.

Thanks for the idea, the prototyping and the Link.

Ordered the tubes, love the clear bags.
How much do these liner bags cost?

Thanks,

Scott charged me $15 and has just about any color fabric available including Multi-Cam (just don't drop the bag in the bushes.)

larger tubes, any good?

Have been reading this and other related threads with interest. The good folk at Agri supply are now able to ship the tubes to the UK, usual story though of the high cost of shipping, and I was just about to place an order when I checked on FleaBay and found them in the same size but also in a larger size. Has anyone had dealings with the larger tubes and will they fit onto a 12GSA in the same manner as the smaller one? My other question is, if someone has fitted the larger one, was it succesful? in that when it was full did it handle the extra strain on the fixings etc? or does one stick with a single smaller one and be happy?
Cheers

Can you add a link to the Fleabay site where they show the larger sizes?

That's the best I can do. Logged into ebay.co.uk but I guess the number is universal. They are in the states and so the shipping is still the killer, but doing the tubes with and without the handy little internal bags and tool rolls.
I wondered if they are the same spec as the Agri Supply ones which everyone seems to be very happy with, or cheap & chearful copies?
Any news greatly appreciated.

I stopped by SKT and Scott had made up a batch of tube bags if any one is interested.
Bought myself a new single point sling while I was there for my other hobby

It makes a pretty good first aid tube too.

I have a couple of these on my bike.

While I've never had the tops unscrew ... there's always a first time.
I have them mounted either side of my top case so thought about putting a screw-eye thru the side of the lids and cabling them together or something ... but ... who's got a better idea?
