just me, the pioneer. Nice night on the patio as the sun went down.

Newner- official word is that this location was originally the Colony. Then it switched to IV Play for about 13 years. Few years ago it switched back to the Colony. They still serve the 7 little glasses (now filled with High Life) for $7. Of course, I don't stoop to such lows.

Thanks for the history lesson, I first stepped into the place(IV play) back in '92.

7 glasses for $7 dollars when it used to be $2 sounds like inflation at work. Perhaps you have not had a miller high life lately, it is the nectar of the Gods! Would you really be stooping that low if you were drinking HIGH life?

IV play was a magical place where you could participate in beer waves and throw your glass against the wall after you downed your 6 oz beer. I spent many nights there trying to drink until the girls got pretty.

Yeah, I thought it was less back in the day as well, but $2 would definitely be cheap today. I think they must have had a special night or something when it was that cheap- surely it wasn't nightly?

BTW- just because High Life has superbowl commercials doesn't make it classy. I remember when I could get a 30-pack of High Life (the first brand to come out with such a thing, if I recall) in Stillwater for $8.88. Now that's a deal!

Back on topic...I think this is going to be an ongoing thing. I don't drink but if I had known Dirty Dog was going to be drinking alone I would have gone over and hung out awhile. Next time maybe.

Small world! So far it’s been great. I am starting to get comfortable on it. This weekend I plan to ride out to the in-laws lake house on Tenkiller where I can practices on some dirt and gravel.

Ill keep my eye on this forum incase everyone decides to get out again.

I'm cool with next Tuesday too. It'll be a good time for pre-SLAP discussions and map browsing. I guess since I was the only one there this week, that gives me the right to require that the next meeting is at the Colony as well.

It's nearly 3 blocks from my house afterall.

Maybe I'll see you guys there.

Up to the individual, I guess. I'm flexible since I live so close. I was there about 8 this week, and it started getting busier at ~8:30. First few inmates there need to try to secure a group parking area out front and some tables on the patio.
