If you're doing power valve you going to do top end as well? My power valve was gummed all to whoa and you have to pull the whole top off. Ended up thinking just rings but got in there and figured out I needed a piston too. :-/ If you're going to have it all apart might have the piston/gaskets/roller bearing on hand too.

Tulsa Tuesday Pub Crawl

Maybe try getting used to it while it isn't a smooth-running screamer. :)

Oh yeah- congrats, Charles.

Gotcha. 2 strokes are pretty easy on the working on spectrum and buying an older one(I have an 04 200EXC) you gotta go through them a bit. It runs right now yes? Wondering on compression, I can kick start mine with tennis shoes on, have even kick started it with flip flops. Could be jetting on that though, depending on what's in there. Power valve you can pull the side plate if it's the same as mine and see if it's opening and closing well/not gummed up.

Make sure and use real gas and 91 octane. Also what ratio are you mixing and what pre mix are you running? I knew absolutely nothing about them when I first got mine but had a lot of help from Crash and others and have gotten some stuff lined out on it. Might be able to help some, if not I know people who can. :)

scored two 18in scoop tires because Newner pointed out the lead.

just got KTM 200 running .. runs like a scalded dog!
first few runs felt like front end was coming up.

an ultra light bike sure rides different.
picking up rear end to move it around is no big deal.
up next is replacing all the baffling in rear muffler.

I rode that bike when Kelly first got it. I can confirm that it will indeed do a nice wheelie

Here are my vids. I apologize about the beep at the end of every clip. I don't know why it is doing that suddenly.

This video gives a bit more perspective on the course layout. At 8 seconds, you can see the uphill double that was giving me fits. Just didn't have the courage to hit it as hard as I needed to to clear it. Kept increasing my speed and smacking the face on the landing. Took it's toll on my body after 5 or 6 focused attempts.
