I spoke with the head dude in charge of the Golden Eagle Enduro today. Nice guy. I warned him of the shenanigans afoot with the DS enduro challenge and they will be reserving some space to accommodate us in two or more rows near the back of the pack.

Continue to list "dual sport" somewhere on your entry and they will make sure we are lined up together.

power valve pivot shafts had evidence of metal gouging causing metal to bind.
moly paste will be used when assembling after gouges are polished out.









power valve all back together nice and smooth


top end done except for torquing down .. need to chase down a crowfeet 12mm for base nut


clutch basket tool is needed before center nut can be torque down

does it look like this .. found this tool at cycle gear today .. need to put 88 ft lb on clutch basket nut. tool slipped when I put the muscle to it ... now I'm afraid of new tool destroying clutch basket.

getting ready to order the model specific tool that grabs all of the splines.



this is the safest one with most grab
