Hi there. I am a Canadian living near Shanghai. At the end of he school year I am planning a long distance trip here in China. My buddy bailed on me, so I am alone now. If someone would like to join me I would be interested in hearing from you.

A few caveats.
I don't speak Chinese.
I don't have an adventure bike. I will be riding my Honda Rebel.

If you are coming in I could help arrange a legal bike. Pm me or comment.

I have a route and a destination planned but am willing to change.

Wow, would I be interested in doing that!

Now is not a good time for me... as I'm just about to start my professional career. I was in China a few years ago and I plan to come back at some point for a long motorcycle trip.

It's a beautiful country, and the people are fantastic.

Good luck on your search and enjoy your ride whether solo or with someone else.

Do it alone. The trip will be more rewarding and you will interact more with locals. Language won't be a big deal unless you are in some kind of trouble. Having somebody in Shanghai over the phone to help if needed should be enough.
