Central Sandbox TOR 4-Corners Challenge

A little over a year ago some of us were discussing a four corners tour or tag. There was some input, some time frames discussed, some basic rules, but for some drunken reason it never materialized...

Until now.....




Here's the dealeo:

1. You must take a picture of your bike and the target as in the pictures HERE.

2. The same bike must be used and included in each picture.

3. All four tags must be posted in one post.

4. There's no time frame to get these. No 24 hour challenge, no ironbutt. Just grab the tags whenever.




For your reward, there is no gazillion dollar factory ride and contract, no fancy prizes or Hollywood party.

You don't even get to start a new tag.



What you WILL get is your name right here on the first page as one of the few who has completed the challenge and you will bask in the adoring admiration of all the rest of the TOR players!
And the winners are:

1. Swampy Going where no TOR player has gone before.
2. Fl. Pepper Keeper of the maps... making the men look like whiny little girls by doing it in 2 days on a WR250

Rulez:

File pics are ok for clues but please no file pics to claim tag, this is about the ride not who has the most pics on file..

The tag pic has to have the same elements as the clue. If you can't get access or clue pic is Illegal make it as close as possible.

PLEASE post new tags in a separate post to make it easier to identify them.


When you find that someone else has beaten you to the tag and you get Bruced post up so we can feel your pain.

Post a pic of your bike and a full size Dinosaur and start your own new tag. We need some from East Central Florida. The more the merrier.

what's wrong with one giant TOR? there's a North America Tag O Rama, why not a florida? having 4 different TOR's in the state is nuts. the point of this game is to get you out riding. what better way than to make it statewide?

Its on a County Road that runs East and West and also runs North and South. Its also in Levy County.

I'll be in Central Fla this weekend. Hopefully the weather will be better than it's been down here.

The first tag was in Loughman, FL. From Loughman, take Ronald Reagan Pkwy(also called 54 and old Dean Still Rd) East across the tracks and hang a left (NE) onto Old Kissimmee Rd. Its up ahead on the left, right before the pavement ends. I came in on Rock Ridge road which turns into Dean Still road from the west and it was a nice twisty ride for FL.

I was going to ride the old brick road out, but there was a black cloud looming over me with lightning so I got the hell out of there. I managed to out run the rain, but ran into some more when I hit Wildwood and got dumped on the rest of the way home. It was a nice 210 mile ride round trip, and I stayed warm and dry in my rain suit.

1. Is this tag on the portion that is north-south or east-west?

2. Is this tag in the close vacinity of Chiefland?

If you can't answer, how about some more hints. It's kinda difficult if you don't live near the tag....
