We don't even know what county it's in. So that lets us look from coast to coast between hwy 40 and hwy 60...

There needs to be some consistant guidelines for hints. I would like to think the objective is to get out and ride, but a general heading would be nice as well.

I would also think that there would be more participation if the tag was identified and it's location presented. Then it would make a mad dash out to tag it and see who posts it first.

Is the object to spend all day on Google Earth looking for something somewhere between the Gulf and the Atlantic while no one gives you a clue except for a few folks that know where it is?

Here's a picture of a tree. Go find it. In essence, that's what we have.

Tag #2 was good, at least we got the hint that it was in Levy County (good place to start looking) and that the road runs n-s and E-w (which any map will show you there were 2 roads in Levy that did this), and that it was North of Williston (narrowed the search) and provided for the exploration.

I'd suggest hints set up like this:

What it is
County it's in
What it's by (city)
North South East West

and whatever else you wanna put out there. This information will narrow it down so we're not wasting all our time on a computer.

If there's a tag in Titusville, I'd love to find it, but I don't know Titusville so as many hints as possible would be wonderful since it'll take a little haul to get there to even start looking!

Would I start north of Titusville, west of Titusville, south of titusville? Where would I even start? Makes the tag unobtainium from the get go so people will sit it out instead of playing.

I'm just sayin'.

Aug 23, 2005 ... The spur on the right with the 1938 Reedy Creek bridge was bypassed in 2001, it does not reconnect to US 17. Turn right on to County 532 ...

DrZ Said the 1st post was in his back yard. I said this tag was also in his back yard. That should have clued you in that it near the Polk/Osecola county line.

The abandoned Hwy and 1938 should have clued you in that it was also the Dixie hwy. Reedy creek is Disney's Utility company. Maybe look for a 1938 Reedy Creek bridge. Thats How JD found it.
