Some mentions of travel trailers have come up in here a bunch. A couple I know a bit has an Oliver Trailer that they live in. They had it built to their specs and have it geeked out for their needs. He lived in a T@b for a bit before they built this one.

They can't compliment the ownership and support at Oliver enough. They had some work done on it a month or two ago, and since they live in it, the Oliver people just let them camp inside their warehouse/factory.

its a bit long for my short wheelbase truck and at that length I'd prefer a dual axle.
but it is extremely light for that long of a rig. i got more pics and looks very good (for a 43 YO camper).

From their site: "With the economic downturn of the industry and to be cost effective for our valued customers, we have decided to postpone the manufacturing of our 17’ and 22’ Oliver Travel Trailers until January 2010."

Go for it, man! Check into the axle lube history, if it's been sitting long. That's a nice price for a currently roadable Avion, from what I've been seeing.

They are just adapting to the times. They are not done, hopefully.

I previously found their blog about living out of the T@b and it's pretty inspirational. "Geeked out" is a good way to put it as they spend a lot of time researching everything that goes into their trailer, largely because they do a lot of boondocking on solar power. The guy also apparently travels with a motorized parasail ultralight aircraft, which is pretty amazing for such a small fulltiming arrangement.

Don't know anything about 'em, but do you think you could post a bigger picture next time?

Wouldn't you have to spend 1/2 of your weekend polishing a trailer like that?
