Yo Mezo,

Glad to see that you went with some of my recommendations, that thing is going to be sweet! Did I ever send you the pictures of the other DR with the white frame? Should look really good with the new white Safari tank.

I'll be following this build closely, so if you have any questions just post them here and I will chime in when I get a chance.

or in serial fashion? Either way three cans in one DR will be something I will watching out for

Nice color scheme and Nice tires. Do you know what tires those are?

Also is there a link or a write up for the freebie version of the gsxr can mod? I have a gxsr can sitting and cannot seem to afford or justify an expensive

mid pipe at this time.

are the KTM EXC clamps a direct bolt on? Stem? Bearings?

There is a bearing that goes where 1 is. mirror image of the lower bearing (on mine they are the same bearing). You may/will need to get your DR tube machined to accept the KTM bearing.

2 & 3 fit together with the top nut, torqued and then the pinch bolt is tightened.

The race is the "cup' the bearing rests in/on.

Cup is also a common term yes.

Bottom bearing looks good to me. You will need an upper bearing for a DR and machine out the inside to fit in the KTM stem if that is a possibility.

That or get a KTM bearing and it sounds like the DR race/cup will accept the KTM bearing which is far easier and zero work.

Awesome that they match up
