Nice!

Mezo, what is the distance from axle to axle of this shock?

Anything less than 46 cms will result in a lower bike! (without other mods)

Maybe I missed it, but will this shock be up to the task on a much heavier bike with luggage, etc? or are you getting it reworked? You are finding stuff way too cheap! I want a $75 FCR!

I think you have been diddled Mr Mezo. it makes up for the bargain ohlins that you got.

I just measured my $500 so called 39mm in the same place that you have and it is 40mm.

I was thinking that they measure them at the venturie but i might be wrong.

I checked the prices of 37mm dealer "buy-now`s" on fleaby & they were $200 so still a cheap carbie at $77.00, be a good mod for DR350`s wouldnt it ? 33mm BST to 37mm FCR.

Been diddled by a bloke called Justin from Connecticut

Mezo.
Get the carb bored out to 39mm.
Just have to keep the deck height the same.

Mezo, it seems you just can't resist getting more and more parts!

BTW, what happened to the engine?

My DR's powerplant is in this sorry state:

The donor bike did its gearbox (third gear?) and Mezo only bought the frame. Think hes still looking for an engine.

PS I got the Staintune from the donor bike. Hi Rossco

Mezo,

Show us what you have been sniping on Ebay lately.

Are you still planning on the 725 kit? I might have something to get you one step closer to having an actual MOTORcycle.
