Mine is on it's way back east from James. This will be my 2nd Renazco. I had one on my 950.

I was thinking of getting him to make one for my 800gs, he said he is doing a new design. Any pics would be good, thanks.

Hey DP, did it come yet? Initial impressions? Pics? Which
finish did you go with and what were your 'stats'?

My build week is this week and I'm stoked to get this seat back!

The seat is pure Renazco. 100% spot on in looks and comfort. Yes this is the new redesigned model.

Ask James Renazco. He obviously knows better than I do about the changes.

DP which model is yours? All suede? And how exactly does it work? You send your seat to James and he sends you a new one back?

I've had mine since late last summer, and I can't imagine what could have been improved upon. No slope, no crown, and a great shape both seated and standing.

10/10

No suede for the 800. James will not do one. I cannot remember why, but he had a reason.

Nate, I'm not sure what changes James made, but he told me he did change up something about it after spending more time in the saddle of one.
The price maybe ?

ba,
No, you send James your seat and he sends you back the same one just re-done the right way. These seats are very popular and so you may be surprised at the wait to send your in. I think right now he is booking Sept. build dates.

Doh!!! I'm in line to have one made with a suede top. Even paid for it. I'll let you know what I end up with, still a few weeks to go.

When I ordered mine thats what James had told me. Not that I ordered that, but I remember him saying that. Perhaps he changed his mind on it.

Yep, same thing here. I stated so in the beginning of the thread. Mine was also the first one that he built "after the change." Not to say that he hasn't come up with "another change" or found a way to make suede work.

I guess we'll see. . . or, better yet, one of you in line might want to call and get the scoop and post here for the rest of those wanting one of the best seats made (IMO). Let's get away from the rampant speculation and get some facts.
