Old pic of that damn ramp. That right hand upper side is where I stepped up on it. That sharp edged aluminum trim is what attempted to amputate my leg. I made the one step up and was almost immediately head first into the door frame and pavement below. Foot went right out from under me when my left foot left the pavement. I have fell down on it in the past butt first and almost crashed the Tenere once going up it wet with traction control still on in full on mode. Slipped many times in the past and caught myself. Its a poor design which is not just this model or brand they all suffer from this. I bet if one researched it they'd find all sorts of injuries related to rear ramp toy hauler doors.

Oh those antiibiotics, yeah stay the hell out of the sun. Even driveing in a car, ware long sleves or you will regret it... I was on them a year or so ago and got out in the sun. Sun burn from hell in just 45 minuts.

And could you run strips of thin rubber across the door ever few inches to help. Or that grip tape.

I'm going to look into skateboard grip tape strips. Or something like that but even then I will have to be cautious of it.

What about rolling on some epoxy with some sand in it?

Like this: http://www.superior-industries.com/t...oduct_294.html

EDIT: Never used this specific product, just the first one that google returned...

That sand/epoxy might be a good fix - we had something similar on the flight deck when I was in the Navy. Hey, it kept us from slipping overboard!

You can buy sheets or rolls of deck grip tape for boat trailers and decks. Works great in the wet. If I wasn't on my phone, I'd find what I am talking about and paste a link. Heal up, Roy!

Roy, I frequently use a toy-hauler and had the same problem. I went to lowes and got step grips. They are about 6" by 24" with adhesive backing. They are end to end leading to my chocks. Work good. Just peel and stick.

Good job on the track!

Nope. Deleted Tappatalk and FB from my phone a while back. Also made it so my phone does not automatically check for email. I may go back to a "dumb" phone before too long. It is really nice for the weather though...

I guess technically it's a notification and not an ad.
