a hint. Unless you are lucky that light on top of the gun is a bad idea. it will cause a glare in the scope off the top of the gun. Got one like that on my high power pellet riffle and it doesn't work very well at night. the one on my shotgun is under the gun and it works great.

food for thought if you haven't tested your set up.

I actually don't like any of that junk up on the top rail. It's actually just that. Junk. Some cheap sight someone got on ebay or something. I'm getting a red dot holo and a slide to the side magnifier for it. I"ll probably dump the light and laser all together.

Was gonna shoot it this evening, but a storm popped up, and the winds got a little crazy, so we won't be doing that today.

My mom just texted me the same thing. Prayers for the rider's family.

The rider's name was Mark Bissell. Turns out he was a friend of a good friend of mine.

dirty ride saturday ?

Some of us are going to ride some dirt and gravel this Saturday. Yall come and join us for some mild to moderate dirt and some fast gravel roads. We will leave from our camp area by the creek at rigby farms around 0900 so be there and ready by then. We'll have lunch out on the road somewhere and back sometime hopefully before late.

I've ridden up that stretch of 74 up toward Murphy and Andrews before. Definitely NOT the best road in the area. Unless you like flat, 4-lane, local traffic filled with tweakers etc...
