there's nothing where it crosses. but with in a mile of it there's The Place For Fish, Pin's, Old Trace Grill, (over priced and SLOW) Umm there's the Chinese buffet, and the BBQ place Frinchy's

personily I'ed pick The Place For Fish. but it's a bit on the greasy side but it's GOOD.

oh yeah there's a Mexican place but i wouldn't take my dog there to eat.

and i'ed back down to crossing 12 at Weir instead of Ackerman you can back road that easier more when I get back to a comp.

How much gravel/backroad are you guys talking about riding?
Last time I rode my KLR up the trace to Kashooshco, I slept most of the way there, and all the way back. (not bitchin')

That's why you follow the Hill Country trail to Koshyeskoo so you get a little fun in your ride...

if yall start in 4-corners and work ya way through .... a LOT of back roads. and some probly nast back roads. they graded the roads out that was last week. and with hunting seasion going on some might be rutted. I haven't been out that way on a bike in about 2 months. and as far as I've been since then was Edgefeld and that was just after they graded the roads.

I'm sick as hell right now so I maybe out if I can't shake this before the weekend. I may stay in my warm shop and work on the XR. 2 more days will tell the tell.

going to go look at a few maps.

1) Rode the whole thing with Peaches and EBW on the weekend after Thanksgiving, then rode it with Arden to go to Winona, have lunch at Waffle House and come back. Made for a nice day trip and if you don't want to come back on the exact same roads, there are plenty of alternatives.

2) Ewww... Keep that to yourself!! (Hope you well soon.)

yeah you keep that down there..... I've just got a water facet turned on in my head that's got everything in there raw and bleeding.. the freaky weather over the last week caused it... hot one day and freezing the next then hot again and then ice... so I kind of feel like yeah... that sums it up... very little sleep the last two nights. But it's still 2 days away... We'll see

I was reading the NWA thread and someone had posted this link. I have wished for this every time I try to read a long ride report. I loaded it, and it works.

I may have to ride the bikes for a couple of days... Went outside at lunch and was headed to eat and noticed an awful metal crunching sound from the truck... Seems my right front hub assembly has eaten a bearing and is hungry for more... Tow truck on way to avoid doing more damage!

If they don't get it fixed by 5PM, I'm commuting by bike until they do... Don't know how daughter is getting to school!

I had her one... But sold it since it didn't fit... She doesn't have enough warm clothes and thinks it would be TOO embarrassing to be dropped off on a motorcycle. I told her it would make her the coolest kid in school!
