That was early September of 08'. Everybody I talked to said I was crazy for riding up there alone. I just said "what am I supposed to do? Stay at home?

I've only been riding dirt bikes for about 12 years; never raced. I went to a girl's only riding school in AL a few years ago, taught by Suzy Moody; It was a blast and learned alot!
When the water's down we like going to Grenada Lake; power sliding around on the sand is fun. I enjoy woods riding & blasting around those type trails. My husband rides a 4-wheeler (KXF700) and we have a 7yo son that has started riding (CRF50 & KTM50) so lately ride slower so he can enjoy & follow along.

12 years of rideing is a good number. And most of the place we ride off road a quad can go. We hit Trace State Park from time to time. I'm thinking about geting back in over at the Meridian OHV park. they have 12 or so miles of trails in a loop. some of us hit a track in AL a few times a year. they do fun runs and open it up to everyone about 4 times a year. if y'all like to camp for a weekend and ride that's a GREAT place to go. it's about a 3 1/2 hour drive for y'all. 4 max. I also have a 660 Raptor i love to ride. but I don't know if I'll be able to after this back surgery. it's fairly rough on me. My off road ride is a KTM 200mxc, my on road ride is a soon to be modded 82 XL500R. A 98 XR400r has give it's life to make my XL cool.

Again. welcome to the insanity.

Sorry, didn't mean all the passes in Colorado. Just the ones close to Ouray which was about 6-7. Snow was gone in late August.

I'll have pics in a few days. it's over at my Parents house. and since y'all asked. it's a factory 304 V-8 3 speed Levis jeep Light blue Renegade model . and last summer/fall I drove it dayly. we just put a new steering gear on it. 2 sets of wheels, the bad. tires are dry. one lifter taps. needs a new body lift/ repair. right front U-joint needs to be replaced as doe the right hub lock. will lock in but has to be take apart to unlock. unlocked now. Nice front bumper/grill gard. only body damage is on the front finders. and it's slight. a few rust holes in the floor pans. We've fixed a lot on it and have been inside the motor and trans. i trust this jeep to go where ever. We just don't use it anymore. I need the money to buy my middle daughter a car. or to fix up my old Ford truck. to you guys I'll take our bottom at 2500. Don't haggle me it's worth that. I'ed ask 3000 if the tires where new.

edit i'll get pictures this afternoon and pit them up tonight.

Switch, a guy at work just bought a Wrangler but was looking for a CJ - he's going to cry when I show him yours.

yeah I hate to let it go. we jsut don't use it enough to justify keeping it. Dad can't get in and out of it anymore and I've got 3 other project cars/trucks. of corse this Jeep is the one that needs the lest work. it's just to hard on gas for me to afford to drive it. and really if the weather is where I don't want to ride my bike I really don't want to drive a Jeep ether. It's never had any body work done to it. and up till last year the finder flayers where good.

Been lurking around here the last few days reading all the cool stories about y'alls rides.
So thought I might as well register. Looks like MS has a good representation on here!
I live out from Starkville and have a Honda CRF250X. No it's not street legal - yet. I avoid pavement,
but there are alot of gravel rodes & fun little trails all around our area that I like to explore; usually around Hamil Hill, Noxubee Refuge & Choctaw Lake areas!
...SO HEY EVERYBODY
Welcome!

We've got a few active inmates up this way, and some who just actively run their mouths. The N. MS riders thread is where we plan out any local rides and complain about the Jackson guys...
