Personally, in my experience, I have seen more milk crates on GSA 1200's than on KLR's, but that may just be because I know Peaches!

No biggie, I was just ribbing you because you referred to the fenders and tail light as details that tipped you off to it being a '78  .These are off of a '74 Z1 900, just a little different than the '78 fenders. The round tail lights came on the earlier year Z1 bikes until '75, I believe. Time to hit it

Been doing some riding------ getting used to trying to stay up on two wheels went to Jax last night and dropped by to see if BW was still alive and return his neck warmer that i borrowed last ride with all of ya'll did not know that BW was trying to install a small pond (evidently for fishing or holding catches from bigger ponds) in his jeep ------but I did get to find out that Jeep has SUMO wrestlers that installed the seats seems like I had a new to me dog follow me home from my last training session in Texas---going to have to stop bringing stray things back to Ms -they are getting expensive gonna have to catch up with you and go riding somewhere maybe ya'll can have some patience and help me learn to stay upright on two wheels be in Madison Sat for meeting and lunch see what happens after that ------------- Later David
