I won't be able to make the ride Saturday. Y'all have fun.

I actually might get out cheap. My 13 year old is so picky about clothes, she hasn't found anything she likes.

Well ---I got caught up in riding anyway yesterday---Dropped some items at DQ's shop at about 6 am and decided that I was going to g over to Heart and Soul --wait for them to open and eat before going back to the house and taking the daughter shopping for all that important stuff for college (still don't understand why she can not wear what she has--I know how she is and it will be sweats and shorts--"with the mandatory hoody sweatshirt covering her hair--those early classes are hell ) texted Kingsized and told him where I was and come on over and eat breakfast-Low and behold he tells me that he just got up and to order him a cup of coffee and I think that he transported over--still can't figure out how he got there so fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well he "forced" me to go riding up to Sciples Mill-" Common man its up there towards your house anyway and we can run by there and then you can still make it in time to go shopping" So after all that arm twisting I relented and gave in to temptation-Knowing that the Rat-Girl would not really be coming out of her cave until hunger set in around lunch anyway.

Off we go yonder way with me wondering if the water I was stepping into was going to be lukewarm or HOT!!!!!!!

Too Late!!!!!

Up the road we go and low and behold what do Kingsized and I meet coming around a corner------------------------------
3 holigans riding some type of contraptions of two wheels--well we can't have that and turn around to insure that this bunch of cowboys are obeying the rules and standards (VERY HIGHLY SET TOO) of the ADV Group--- after serious counsilling Kingsized and I decided that we might be able to let them go and explore the world---figured ANTI and WOLFY would not get in too much trouble since UJ was there to keep them in line
We finished on going to the Mill and then time was getting late on my obligations to prior things promised--so off we get going to the house-

I get home and my daughter and her mother have conspired to not go shopping but for me to go to the coast and take one of the Rat's friends with us- SO OFF I GO SOUTHWARD BOUND

never drove that fast to the coast before---but we were there at about 4 pm and they all went to the water ----had a ball with them and made it back home (crosseyed) at about 0030 this morning---

Had a blast riding with Kingsized---did not get in trouble for my hobby--brought the offerings of corn meal, grits, wheat flour, fish fry, calendar, and historical information back about and from the Mill----met some cool inmates and had fun --

WHAT MORE COULD A MAN ASK OUT OF LIFE
Later------ KW

I spent some time riding my rough riding 4 wheeler and my nephews CRF230 (just like the one now in my garage). That 230 is a blast in the woods. I got good at walking it over terraces and across pond dams and such. 4 wheeler, on the other hand was spitting and sputtering so bad, it blew the lid off the airbox and backfired like a 22 a few times.

It couldn't load itself on the trailer Friday night, but a can of seafoam and fresh gas got it slowly better. A little.

yep,, that's the type carbs I thought it had. except they are down draft. the backfiring you are getting is because they are vacuum slides. I bet it's got nasty green goo in them.

gona look something like this

I finally got a PDF service manual for it. Just not sure what to do if I do take the carbs off, short of soaking them to clean them.
