I've dropped 8 or 9 pounds over the past few weeks but my office does this thing every year where someone brings food every day throughout December. Most people choose to bring cakes, candy, and other forms of sweets. It's not easy for a fat boy to resist.

BTW, Onward Store has been refurbished and is back open. New owners though so I'm not sure if the tamales are the same.

I had no ill effects. I just remember how good that steaming plate of tamales was after freezing our asses off for the last few hours .

Also, you have to remember MartiniUp is from Tejas. Mississippi tamales will always just be wrong to him. My wife, a native Texan, won't touch a Mississippi tamale with a ten foot pole
