oh yeah I meant to post something and got distracted by the sound of a KTM melting my brain into a puddle of goo.

I got started on fixing my Raptor today. And well I know it has 4 wheels, and Y'all are motor cycle people but it does have the motor of Yamaha's 660 motorcycles so here.

totle took about 2 hours to get it out.

Found mettle in the oil tank. I'm hopping it is from one of the other times this motor has been into before I got it. this will be at lest the 3ed time it's been apart. what I find tomorrow will decide if i build it back as it is or if I go wild and build a 685 or 770 stroker motor.

well i went back out today and tore the Raptor motor apart. it's not a good sight.

i think it ran out of oil. Yes this is one of those motor that has to idle for so long and then you check the oil in the tank. i have never trusted one of these setups and here's proof of why,

the middle jernal is in bad shape.

that doesn't look good. some of it's left over here

anyone feel like donating to my sanity fund.
